Classic Core offers a voidless, engineered MDF composite crossband in a proprietary construction that adds an extra dimension to Columbia's veneer core hardwood plywood, perfect for applications that require an extra smooth surface, with the benefits of plywood construction.

MDF crossbands when combined with inner plies of veneer core provide the smoothness of a composite core substrate with the lighter weight and strength of veneer core. Classic core machines and laminates beautifully so it's ideal for high profile applications including furniture, cabinetry and fixtures.
