Swytch, winner of the 2010 Home Furnishings News Award of Excellence, is an energy-saving desk lamp that uses state-of-the-art LED technology. Operating with just 10 watts, the lamp delivers the equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent desk lamp, plus a $286 savings on utility bills (based on an average of 11 cents per kilowatt hour). It is engineered to last up to 22 years (40,000 hours), based on an average usage of five hours per day. Swytch delivers a soft bright light similar to daylight, with a color temperature of 5000K, without emitting UV rays or heat. Swytch stands 15 inches tall (in the off-position) and has a base diameter of 7 ¼-inches. The LED panel flips upward 110 degrees while swiveling 45 degrees horizontally. The bottom of the stem rotates 90 degrees on its base. Swytch is offered in contemporary wine and black finishes.
