Stryde consumes only 7 watts of energy, with a light output equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent desk lamp, equating to a $511.50 utility savings over the life of the lamp (based on an average of 11 cents per kilowatt hour). It is engineered with a potential long life of up to 27 years (based on five hours per day, 50,000 hours total). The lamp delivers a warm incandescent-like light with a color temperature of 3000K without emitting any UV rays or heat. Offered in Black or Silver finishes, Stryde is a versatile, energy saving LED (light emitting diode) desk lamp featuring an architectural design with three points of adjustability for a variety of applications. It can be extended horizontally, at a 90-degree angle, or in an upright position. The lamp is crafted with flex points on the bottom and top of the 20.5 inch-rod (connecting the base to the arm), and near the top of the 22.75-inch arm, just below the shade. The base has a diameter of 8.5 inches.
