Quick toe kick product PF Toe Kick is an ADA Compliant Add-on for Sink Base Doors
With the American Disability Act, it was required that the floor space in front of a sink in a public facility be clear to allow forward approach. As a result, commercial builders had to make modifications to take the disabled into consideration when constructing any facility in Georgia, Maryland, Arizona or anywhere in the United States. Base cabinets could no longer be attached to the floor in front of a sink. Instead, contractors use a toe kick, like quick toe or the PF Toe Kick, which is a recess or indentation at the bottom of a cabinet to provide room to allow the user to stand closer without “kicking the toe.” Toe kicks are used to create a clean look at the base of a cabinet. It attaches to the front to hide the seams when cabinets are attached to each other. However, building these toe kicks has been a time consuming and costly expenditure.
Using a quick toe kick pre-fabricated by manufacturer Sunbelt Displays is the perfect way to get the job done quickly, efficiently, and economically while still taking special needs into consideration and making sure that sink base cabinets are ADA compliant.
The benefits of using a pre-fabricated recessed quick toe kick are:
