ELP’s AK Series wall washers are some of the most efficient fixtures on the market. The reflector design provides a wide even throw of light with 83.5% fixture efficiency. This allows installations to be less expensive, because you can use fewer fixtures, or lower wattage options. The 2’ and 4’ fixtures can easily provide even illumination mounted with 4’ between fixtures. Additionally, while other manufacturers may only offer 2’ and 4’ versions of their linear wall wash fixtures, ELP offers a multitude of fluorescent lamp options from PL, Quad and Triple Tube in addition to the standard Biax and linear T-5 & T-8.

Although the AK Series is typically used for wall wash applications in 8’ to 12’ high ceiling, they may also be mounted in the wall to light indirectly. The fixtures are only 3 ½” deep and will recess into a standard stud wall, above eye level, to light upwards indirectly or at a low level to wash the floor. The reflectors DO NOT FALL OUT in any position.

The AK fixtures are available for Drywall and T-Bar ceilings or Surface/Pendent Mount installations. For minimal intrusion into the architectural space, “trimless” versions of the fixtures may also be ordered for drywall or plaster installations. The trimless design allows the ceiling/wall finish to end right at the edge of the lighted opening. The fixtures are UL/CUL/CE approved.
