ELP’s VT Series was developed for multi-function, Video Conferencing and Distance Learning spaces. The optical design allows energy efficient lighting layouts with excellent visual comfort for the speaker, the camera and the audience. The unique design delivers comfortable, soft, vertical illumination on people’s faces so they look their best on camera. No more ghoulish faces broadcast with severe nose and socket shadows. Facial features are clearly illuminated for optimum communication.

The indirect 2’ x 2’ fixture provides even vertical illumination in three directions with
no light being directed behind the fixture, to the front of the room. Luminaires can be installed within a foot of the front wall without washing out the viewing image. This provides good viewing contrast at the monitor, and no direct light on the camera.

Since being introduced in 2001, the VT & VTTB Series have become the largest selling video conferencing luminaire in the world today. They have become the lighting standard for many major corporations and the US military. The luminaires are 50+% efficient and meet the stringent requirements of the California Title 24 energy code. ELP offers design support to insure that installations work properly and people will look their best on camera.

The VT fixtures are available for Drywall and T-Bar ceilings or Surface/Pendent Mount. They utilize(2)40, 50 or 55 watt Biax lamps and are provided standard with dimming ballast. UL/CUL/CE listed.
