KDM Offers Better Brand Color Matching

HP unveils Enhanced Color Pack upgrade at 2013 ISA Sign Expo

KDM was the beta test site for HP's Enhanced Color Pack upgrade for the Scitex FB7600 large format digital flatbed press, and is now the only source to offer the ink upgrade and deliver better brand color matching to its customers.

The HP Enhanced Color Pack inks include the HP FB225 Orange and Light Black Scitex Inks. In other words, the Orange ink provides a broader gamut for vivid colors, better flesh tones, and improved spot color matching, with an unprecedented orange reproduction on a digital press. The Light Black ink creates smoother gray solids, improved neutrals, and excellent black and white high end imagery. After working relentlessly with HP as their beta site for the new inks "our digital color capabilities have achieved a new level in quality with the ability to print true oranges and grays", according to our Graphics Director, Dan Kimmerly. KDM has even been awarded new business based on the expanded ability to match orange brand colors such as PMS 165 on both of their FB7600 digital presses.
