October 6, 2014 - The International Council of Shopping Centers, (ICSC) in keeping with its long-standing tradition of recognising and honouring the shopping centre industry's most cutting-edge, innovative solutions and creative responses to market trends, as well as outstanding examples of retail store design, announced its award recipients for the 2014 Canadian Shopping Centre Global Awards programs. As part of this exclusive shopping centre awards competition, ICSC is pleased to announce, St-Vital Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been awarded a 2014 Maple Leaf Silver Award in this annual awards competition.

The renovation included new flooring, ceilings, wall coverings, energy efficient lighting, and the addition of two new skylights in separate wings of the mall, immersing shoppers in natural light.
