We work with clients who want to do custom signs using more creative substrates to provide some amazing work for our customers.

High-pressure abrasive water jets can cut virtually any material - metals, alloys, synthetics, composites, even glass, stone and ceramic - cleanly, with a burr-free edge. It can cut much thicker materials, too, including metals up to 2" thick and softer materials up to 6" thick.

Since a waterjet makes very fast work with thin materials, cutting letters from .080 or .063 aluminum, or even refinished .040 thin aluminum sheet, the cost to the end user is quite reasonable for waterjet cutting of these substrates.

WL Concepts products are produced to extremely tight tolerances for engineers, fabricators, designers, and architects. In addition, because waterjet cutting produces a smooth “finished” edge, there is no warping, cracking, delimitation or heat related metallurgical changes that are associated with other cutting technologies, the need for secondary finishing is minimised and often removed, allowing further savings to be made by our clients.
