Las Vegas, NV - February 29, 2012 — Reeve Store Equipment Co. was recognized with three awards given by the Association for Retail Environments at a ceremony at the XS Nightclub at Encore Hotel honoring all aspects of retail design from all over the world.
Reeve is no stranger to A.R.E. recognition, winning two Sustainability Awards in previous years and 21 A.R.E. awards total.
In the catagory of Specialty Store over 25,000 sqaure feet, Reeve was honored with Outstanding Merit for its work on REI's Puck Building Store, in the SoHo district of New York City. Heavy use of timber, cast iron and masonry materials work to blend with the urban features of this historic building.
In the category of Hardline Specialty Store 3,001 to 7,500 sqaure feet, Reeve was awarded the Grand Prize, for its work on the Sony Leap store located in Westfield Centrury City, Los Angeles. Reeve's store fixtures were used to help create an open, colorful modern space that is both modular and easily reconfigurable.
Additionally, Reeve won the Store Fixture Award in the Individual Element category for its work on the merchandising walls of the Sony Leap store. The store concept features moveable interior walls that can be reconfigured and a perimeter wall system that can be easily re-merchandized.
