During opening hours, the bars of this innovative stacking grille stack smoothly into a minimal space at the top of the curtain, completely removing the need for a bulky head box and giving maximum visibility and access to the store front.
The unique ‘stack-and-pin’ technology comprises side profiles that guide horizontal steel tubes, which have vertical steel connection rods, that stack as the grille opens. The vertical connection rods disappear into the horizontal tubes, and the grille retracts vertically by stacking rather than using a rolling mechanism, hence saving space at the top of the opening.

Its robust but lightweight design suits a variety of architectural styles, whether contemporary, heritage, or stunningly structural. This revolutionary security shutter system can follow architectural plan profiles, with Stackdoor Curved and Stackdoor Corner options being tailored to bespoke retail designs.
In addition, Stackdoor® stacking grilles are available in much greater widths and heights than classic security shutters, with Stackdoor XXL spanning up to 16 m wide and 7 m high.

This makes it ideal for zoning retail areas, closing sections of shopping malls, or stopping access to revolving doors after normal working hours.
