Mechanical-Assist Mobile Storage System incorporates a drive shaft which runs the entire length of the carriage to assure smooth, responsive carriage movement, eliminating “lag time” or “sway”. Its 16:1 gear ratio drive allows access to be a virtually effortless with a simply turn of the ergonomically designed handle. The Mechanical-Assist Mobile System is applicable when carriage weights exceed 3,000 lbs. or 12’ in length. In addition to previously stated storage situations, ideal opportunities for this system are “big-box” storage environments, electronics, RTA furniture, appliances, equipment and warehouse storage. This system can also be used as simply as a matter of preference. The overall weight capacity is 900 lbs. per linear foot of carriage. The recommended maximum system length is 24’; applications beyond this length should be approved by Pipp. Shelving options include Four-Post, Tab, Wire, Rivet Style Shelving, Light and Heavy Duty Pallet Rack and Bulk Rack. This system is available with Flat Track which is ADA Compliant. The anti-tip options are In-Track Anti-Tip, Z-Rail Anti-Tip and Overhead Anti-Tip Systems. A variety of shelving and storage room accessories are available to truly maximize storage potential and increase productivity and organization.
