Manual Lateral Mobile Storage System’s ideal applications are office/filing, supply storage and medical records environments. This system’s configuration consists of a rear row of stationary shelving plus 1 row (Bi-File) or 2 rows (Tri-File) of mobile units installed in front. To access the rear row of files, simply push the mobile units to the side. The lateral movement of this system allows for 50% of stored materials to be exposed at all times. The Manual Lateral Mobile System has a weight capacity of 3,000 lbs. per carriage. Shelving options include File Drawers, Four-Post Style and Rivet Style Shelving. This system is available with “V” Groove Track, which is ADA Compliant. An Anti-Tip system is mandatory with this system. The E-Z Track Anti-Tip is the most popular anti-tip system for this storage solution. Additional anti-tip options are In-Track Anti-Tip, Z-Rail Anti-Tip and Overhead Anti-Tip Systems.
